Pastoral Ministry
The Pastoral Office (referenced in scripture as bishop, elder, pastor, overseer, etc.) is ordered and ordained by God as the primary official of Christ’s Church. The pastor serves as the chief administrative servant of the church. No other office, position, or title within the church replaces or supplants the service of this office. Both the old and new covenants recognize the role and responsibility and requirements of a pastor as outlined in Jeremiah 3:15, Ephesian 4:11-16, 1Timothy 3:1-7, Titus 1:5-9, etc.
Deacon Ministry
The Deacon Ministry supports the Benevolent needs of the church. Deacons serve under the leadership and spiritual direction of the Pastor in prayer, practice, and partnership. Deacons are charged with supporting the three tables of the Lord—Table of the Poor (providing benevolence to those in need); Table of the People’s Offering (securing of tithes and offerings from the membership); and the Table of the Lord’s Supper (participating in the distribution of Holy Communion). Deacons are selected by the congregation and assigned by the pastor to care for and assist families in their needs. The Deacon Ministry promotes a spirit of peace, harmony, cooperation and unity among the membership by obeying The Great Commission; communicating the Gospel to believers and non-believers; and being unwavering Christian role models as evidenced in Acts 6:1-7, and 1 Timothy 3:8-13.
Deaconess Ministry
The Deaconess, much like the Deacon, is to be a Christ-like example for other Christian women and practically includes the non-biblical office of Church Mothers, widows above the age of 60 who have served with their husband in Pastoral or Deacon ministry. They are responsible for the setting and upkeep of the communion table for the Lord’s Supper; providing assistance to female candidates for baptism; cooperating with the pastor and deacons in visiting the sick and shut-in members and extending Hospitality to all. Deaconesses serve according to 1 Timothy 3:11; 5:2- 16 & Titus 2:3-5.
Trustee Ministry
The Trustees, though not specifically a biblical office or ministry, serve as legal and loyal agents to all property belonging to the church including its Historical narratives. Women’s Ministry

marketplace, and humanity. The overall ministry of women to women is also evidenced in Titus.
